How Long Will My Polyaspartic Coating Last?
So, you’ve heard that polyaspartic coatings last longer than epoxy, but how much longer? Our polyaspartic coatings can last up to 30 years with proper maintenance. Generally, our floor coatings last as long as the surface that they’ve been applied to.
Will I Need To Have My Polyaspartic Coating Redone?
So long as the surface that your coating is applied to is in good condition and you maintain your coating properly, no, you shouldn’t need to have your polyaspartic coating redone. However, if the coating is applied to a damaged surface or if you do not care for it, then it likely won’t last as long as it would otherwise.
Do Polyaspartic Coatings Turn Yellow?
No, they don’t! This is because polyaspartic coatings are UV stable. This means that even with sun exposure, you don’t need to worry about UV rays changing the color of your floor coating. Your polyaspartic coating will only be yellow if you ask us for a yellow coating.
How Much Time Does It Take To Install Polyaspartic Coatings?
Only a day! This is because unlike epoxy coatings, which are notorious for needing days on end in order to cure, polyaspartic cures very quickly. Different floors may have different specifications – our experts will inform you if yours has different specifications.
How Often Do I Need To Clean My Polyaspartic Coating?
You’ll want to clean your coating as you notice dirt and grime on it. Left uncleaned, said dirt and grime could end up damaging your floor coating. Check out our page on Floor Care Instructions in order to learn more about how to clean your polyaspartic coating.
Will Getting A Floor Coating Leave My Home Dusty?
Perhaps if you worked with another company, but not when you work with Solid Garage Floor Coatings of Montana. We always clean up after ourselves and attach vacuums to our equipment to clean up dust as it’s generated. We would never leave your home dirty after our work.
Is Your Team Professionally Trained And Certified?
Of course! Polyaspartic coatings necessitate professional training and experience in order to be properly applied. We always ensure that our specialists are properly trained and certified so that your coating looks just the way you want it to.
Do I Need To Be Home Why You Install My Floor Coating?
No, you don’t. As long as our crew has access to the part of your home that is getting a floor coating, you can go about your day. You don’t need to worry about us going into any part of your house that is not receiving a floor coating.
Can You Repair My Concrete Before Applying A Floor Coating?
You will want to have any damage to your concrete repaired prior to getting a floor coating. We can use fillers and menders for some cracks and small damages.
