Wow, where do I start? I could talk about my garage floor for an hour. You see a great looking floor every once in a while, you notice it, but never think you would ever have something that nice in your own home. SOLID does floors just like that for you! I have one now. Did a excellent job looks great fixed all the cracks in my garage and more had a few issues with my floor and the crew fixed some 2 inch cracks can’t even see where they were I would recommend them very professional and worked around my schedule which is rare these days everything when just as planned getting my garage in nice shape with new flooring and garage cabinets new lights paint looks better than new probably the nicest one on the block really like the new look and the flooring started it all Thanks guys you did a great job

Polyaspartics are a very popular choice for garage floor coatings. Polyaspartics are a flexible material and is often much easier to apply, and the level of durability is next to none. Epoxy garage floor coatings offer a strong protective barrier on the surface in a variety of colors. While there are advantages and drawbacks to each type of coating, which will work best often depends on the surface and use.

Polyaspartics vs. Polyurethane

Polyurethane coatings have a high resistance to acids, but can be difficult to apply with their sensitivity to water and humidity. Polyaspartics are an excellent choice for projects in a variety of temperatures, and the garage floor coatings cure fast so you don’t have to be without your garage for long. However the fast cure time can make them difficult to apply as well. These two coatings are in fact very similar and the best one to use often comes down to service time, temperatures, and budget.

Polyaspartics vs. DIY Coatings

Polyaspartics are an excellent choice for garage floor coatings and provides a fast cure time. This material is also impact resistant, UV resistant, and waterproof. DIY garage floor coatings can be very difficult and do not always guarantee success. Depending on the materials you choose, more maintenance and repairs may be needed in the future to fix the damage done by improper application.

So long as the surface that your coating is applied to is in good condition and you maintain your coating properly, no, you shouldn’t need to have your polyaspartic coating redone. However, if the coating is applied to a damaged surface or if you do not care for it, then it likely won’t last as long as it would otherwise.
Do Polyaspartic Coatings Turn Yellow?

No, they don’t! This is because polyaspartic coatings are UV stable. This means that even with sun exposure, you don’t need to worry about UV rays changing the color of your floor coating. Your polyaspartic coating will only be yellow if you ask us for a yellow coating.
How Much Time Does It Take To Install Polyaspartic Coatings?

Only a day! This is because unlike epoxy coatings, which are notorious for needing days on end in order to cure, polyaspartic cures very quickly. Different floors may have different specifications – our experts will inform you if yours has different specifications.
